Design Details: For kitchens I like to keep the countertops nice and clean and ready for use. Since countertop space is limited on the back wall I think the Ikea hanging system would work great for cooking utensils. And it adds a pretty farmhouse look to the black wall behind the stove. I recommend styling with wooden utensils.
The cake plate next to the stove will hold your salt and pepper and any other go to spices you use while cooking. Then the little planted herbs to add a pop of greenery. You can also add a vase to the bar area for fresh greenery and flowers or a bowl for fresh fruit but this is optional. You may want to keep those area clear for eating.

Option 1: Is a little more modern and clean than the other two options. The black will tie into the black touches we are using throughout the room and the black hardware used in the kitchen.
Option 2: Very similar to option 1 which a little more farmhouse feel. The wood is more white washed. Again it will also tie into the black touches we are using throughout the room and the black hardware used in the kitchen.
Option 3: A fabric option. This a more refined farmhouse look. If going with a fabric stool I recommend scotch guarding the fabric- then using fabric in a dining setting is fine.
