For the dining room I worked around your existing round dining table. I brought in black accents with the chairs, chandelier, and the curtain rods. I also softened the look with white drapes. I added a bit of color (still subtle) with the blue rug. The pattern in the rug all added texture. The overall feeling of the dining space is welcoming clean and fresh. I also included a corner cabinet that we had discussed for adding for extra storage. I have linked this cabinet on the source page but Craigslist is a good resource for these cabinets and you could paint it. I think a dark gray exterior and a white interior would be very pretty in the space.

Touches of greenery add life to the room. This is one of the first rooms guest see when entering your front door. So I kept the design simple and free of cutter so it provides a welcoming feeling for guest.
