My Fall Entryway Table Decor I Created with JOANN
Although I’m holding onto the very last few moments of summer these cooler night temps and already falling leaves has given me the itch to decorate for fall. I’ve teamed up with JOANN this fall season to decorate my entryway table. Who knew JOANN had such an amazing selection of seasonal home decor items?!
When I decorate for seasons I like to find inspiration from elements and materials that I’m loving during that time. For my fall entryway table I was inspired by a walk to my mailbox. Early one morning last week I woke up and headed out to drop a letter into the mailbox. As I opened the door the crisp morning air greeted me and I pulled my robe up over my shoulder and headed up the drive. As I walked up the driveway early fallen leaves crunched under my feet and the vibrant colors of orange, yellow, and red gave my heart a warm feeling against the crisp morning air.
This warmness is the feeling I wanted to portray in my fall entryway. I wanted my guest to feel that same warmth I had felt that morning with the warm colors of an early fall morning. I carried this inspiration with me into JOANN as I shopped for decor for my entryway table. As I strolled down the floral isle these stems of leaves with the same warm colors as the leaves on my driveway that morning spoke to me. These beautiful floral stems were the foundation of my vision.
As I strolled the isles more and more beautiful pieces began filling my buggy. A textured orange leaf pillow, a soft warm neutral blanket, loose leaf bundles, wooden shadow box picture frames, and rich faux leather material. JOANN was bringing my vision from my inspiration to life.

Grab a cup of hot apple cider and lets chat about how I created this design:
For the top of my entryway table I layered and created a cascade of fall elements- leaves, wood, texture, softness. First I placed the floral stems of leaves into an antique apothecary jar. Next I layered these wood and black metal lanterns amongst some antique dark green encyclopedias. I also placed a small floral stem of leaves in a jar layered inside a locker basket with a rolled mustard yellow blanket. Then I added a DIY wood bead garland- you can find my full tutorial on this easy project for you own fall decor by CLICKING HERE. This garland is an easy and beautiful way to add texture and movement to any seasonal vignette.
Along the bottom of my entryway table I stacked split wood and added a wood and black metal basket to hold extra fall pillows and blankets. The stacked wood adds interest and warmth and the basket adds a practical storage solution. This gives you a place to display and store all the extra blankets you pull out as the temperatures begin to drop and you prepare for nights curled up on the couch in front of the fire.
On the shiplap wall behind my entryway table I wanted a special focal point. I painted a farmhouse in a modern fall setting on a canvas board I also picked up at JOANN. Above I placed some faux loose leaves in wooden shadow box picture frames carrying some of the warmth from the tabletop up above. I also sewed some faux leather pillows for my sofas with material I found while strolling the isles of JOANN. Leather pillows can be pricey- I made these myself for a faction of the cost. AND I’m loving the look of warm leather this fall season. You will definitely be seeing more warm leather from me in my fall decor.
And with all those elements my fall entryway table vision came to life! Now I’m feeling fall and ready for trips to the apple orchard and pumpkin patch. I’m ready for warm sweaters, boots, and nights by the fire. Fall is truly such a magical time of year and with the help from JOANN you too can bring the feeling of fall into your home.
With love,
